About
I’m Rachael, the creative force behind LilRach Designs.
If you ask my clients and colleagues to describe me, they’ll tell you I’m equal parts visionary and project manager – a designer who can see the big picture and also keep every detail on track. I thrive on blending creativity with structure, making the design process as enjoyable and stress-free as the finished space is beautiful. I am originally from Charlotte, NC, but relocated to San Diego in August of 2024 to be closer to family.

My Vision
My vision has always been simple: to create spaces that feel like home. Every client comes to me with a dream, an idea, or even just a feeling they want their space to capture. My job is to translate that into a cohesive design that balances aesthetics, function, and budget. Whether it’s reimagining a family kitchen, selecting the perfect materials for a renovation, or managing a full new build, I approach every project with a thoughtful eye and a collaborative spirit.
My Mission
My mission is to guide clients through every step of the design journey – from the first conversation about goals and lifestyle, to selecting materials in showrooms, to overseeing contractors on installation day. I act as the central hub for communication and coordination, so homeowners can enjoy the excitement of transformation without the overwhelm of managing the details. With me, design isn’t just about choosing colors or finishes – it’s about creating a personalized process that ensures every project is completed on time, within budget, and with results that truly reflect my client’s personality and needs.

What Drives Me
I’ve had the privilege of managing both creative design projects and high-stakes corporate portfolios, and that experience taught me the value of precision, planning, and collaboration. At LilRach Designs, I bring that same discipline into the world of interiors – ensuring every renovation and new build runs smoothly while still allowing space for creativity to shine. What excites me most is the moment when a client walks into their newly finished home and feels it’s exactly what they imagined – even if they couldn’t picture it at the start.
